  • Hi Xanga. Long time no see right? It's June now. My senior buddies and friends are graduating tomorrow. My summer starts exactly next week (Wednesday is the first day of my summer vacation!)

My old fencing captain Mikiko just posted an article about some Sacramento radio hosts that encourage their listeners to hate and attack transgender children. Not adults. Kids. Like me (and younger teens, preteens, etc).

Why would anyone want to promote violence, more specifically, to kids? They aren't FREAKS. They aren't CRAZY. They're human beings like anybody else. There's no need to advertise such hatred. Sure, people can have different ideas on how life should be lived. Sure, people can voice their own opinions. Free speech, right? Not necessarily if it involves such HATE and MOCKERY towards others.

Reminds me of the radio program host from "Hotel Rwanda," the movie about a genocide in 1994 of the Tutsis by Hutus (I think? Or was it the other way around?). I remember those very words that actually gave me a bit of the chills: "Cut down the tall trees" in reference to mass-killing that targetted group. And the 90+ day massacre began.
Maybe I should use a better example for those who don't know about it. Anyone remember WWII? Anti-semitism? Not only did the Germans set a huge propaganda attack on the Jews and mass-murdered like, a third of the Jewish population, along with other people, but a huge portion of the world's nations cut off Jews from their daily activities, or so my teacher says.

I'm not saying that anti-transgender hate is exactly like hating other nationalities, I may be using some extreme examples here-- juuust a few radio hosts versus some mass hate propaganda/encouragements--, but the concept of this hatred is the same.
